I am sure they will. Here is some info on the Desire HD which is just about the same phone.
Problem is that there is really no room for an extended cover for the phone as the phone has a unibody design.
They would have to create a battery same size but stronger.

Seidio has one now but it's only 1300mAH. Not even worth upgrading to that. Hopefully someone can make a bigger one that will squeeze in there.
