I was looking around to replace my stock Thunderbolt battery for some more juice and stumbled on the htcpedia site and saw some selections. I know some of you already bought the extended battery but I was wondering if any of you bought the Primo Power Core external battery on the same site? Cheaper Primo Power Core here.

While still on topic on external batteries, has anyone seen or checked out the Travel Power 8000mAh and Travel Power Pro 16000mAh yet?

Thoughts?

I have an energizer xp1000. It only costs 20 bucks and it is small. Will charge my Thunderbolt about 60-70% from dead. Good price and good deal. You can pick it up at target or office max. Google it if you want to know more about it.

I'll check it out. Thanx

Personally, I think an external battery/charger is an excellent option to maintain a couple of back-up batteries fully charged and ready to go while travelling. Haven't decided which one to get next, but there are a lot of options out there to suit everyone's needs.

See also the discussion of the Primo and other options mentioned already in this thread:

Maybe a mod could merge the two threads?
