Activate Google Prepaid Card - Wallet Help

As was found in another thread (4.1.1 update) google seems to be giving an extra 10 dollars for activating a Google Prepaid card in the google wallet. That makes 35 dollars total. I can buy a LOT of apps for that. I may buy a movie just to do it.

That tells you how to add money to the wallet. It costs you 20 dollars to get the 10 dollars (or so it seems, we won't know for sure until we try) but the Google Wallet can be used in places other than the app store.

The Google wallet card is just for NFC payments... not purchases online... I believe

Actually if you check here Google Wallet - where it works you will see the wallet works in the Google stores including Google Play and Youtube. We also used the wallet without realizing it to pre-order the Nexus. Everyone with a Gmail and any Android device probably has one, they just don't know it.

The prepaid card portion of Google Wallet cannot be used online, as the card has no number or verification process. A rep from the Money Network (they issue the gift card) told me this. (They already have $30 of mine that I can't have access to, since Wallet is not working on my Evo LTE...) The pure Wallet funds can be used online.

The google store has a Wallet icon on the bottom. Can't you just click that and have it charge you, like using paypal but Google instead?
