Extra homescreens

Curious if anyone has been able to remove some of the homescreens. 5 screens is way more than I need or find useful. I've heard that you may have to change the launcher but can't seem to find out which one I should use.

search for launcher in playstore. most launcher would let you customize the home screen no.

Nova Launcher and Apex launcher are fairly comparable in features, function, and price. They are lean and quick.

If you want something slick and are not afraid to spend $15, consider the SPB Shell 3D launcher. It's a "heavier" app but it's pure eye candy, and its form and function really shine on the Nexus 7. It gets my highest recommendation for a launcher, but unfortunately it's priced very high. If the developer would drop the price to under $10, he'd sell a TON more of these.

Agreed. Great launcher, don't understand why it's so pricey. If it was under $10 it would probably sell 3 times as many.

Unfortunately there is no "free trial" so you pretty much have to trust someone elses word or a review. BUT it's pretty and functional. Wish Google would buy this and make it the Nexus default launcher.
