Exynos - Radio performance

As someone who usually owns and uses multiple phones I have for a while anecdotally felt that my S10+ (Exynos) does not seem to hold a signal as well or be as fast compared to other devices. This came to a head this week when at my desk at work the phone went from clinging onto a 4G signal with one bar to dropping to 3G to just losing data totally, all of this while my friend sat next to me on the same network using his Mate 20 pro on 3 or 4 bars of 4G all day.

I then switched to my OP7 pro, I have always felt from day one that the OP is faster across the board at pretty much everything, wifi has always felt faster and something I noticed immediately for example when updating apps on google play or downloading songs on Spotify. I bought it into the office and as with my friend's Huawei it sat there 100% reliable on 4G all day.

So I am wondering what everybody else’s thoughts are on the radio performance of their S10+ I have the ceramic and I am wondering if that could be a factor?

Ceramic is (it says in the book) non-metallic, so that wouldn't affect radio signals.

As for the rest, I don't have any phone with an Exynos SoC, so someone else will have to answer.

I don't have the Exynos version either but surprised because Samsung radios are pretty good

Testing it again today. Been at work an hour and it has been on 1 bar most of the time sometimes jumping to 2. No drops to 3g yet

The OP7 spent all of yesterday at mainly 4 bars

Of course I cannot rule out the signal display being over generous on the OP
