Face recognition "no match" occurs more often than before...

Am I the only one that gets face recognition to work around 70% of the time? Especially when the sun is hitting your face or in the evenings? Before 2 updates ago from T-Mobile, it started happening to me more often where it would not recognize my face. Note I do have a beard and it grows, as well as I wear glasses. Could those be factors or did the update affect it if I'm not the only one? Before that update it would never fail.

when you register did you take off your glasses?and sometimes if there is backlight the face recog doesnt work well...and not so well either in less lit places.
