Face Unlock Might Come With A Update

FaceID works for me on my old iPhone with Chase, Wells Fargo, PayPal, and ApplePay/Cash. I see no reason why Android cannot use it as well.
The short version....there are two implementations, secure face ID and basic face ID (which is not considered secure). Apple uses secure face ID. The basic Android version that's part of basic Android is not considered secure. Apps that require secure biometrics will not allow basic face ID, they will only allow secure face ID. Google made face ID secure with the Pixel 4 series and the Soli sensor. But many app developers didn't want to recognize it was secure and implement it into their apps.

After the latest one ui beta update on my s21ultra the face unlock changed. No longer does it go to homescreen after face unlock. It stays on lockscreen and I have to swipe to get to homescreen. Have any of you noticed that on your s21s?

Never mind, I found a toggle in settings to switch it back to make it go to homescreen after face unlock. duh
