Face unlock won't work unless power button is pressed first

It's weird. My phone is perfect. My wife has to press the power button to get these face unlock to open the phone.

Anyone else seeing this?

Man. I tell you what.... This is a great phone. I dogged the crap out of it today. I am 13 hours in, full charge, watch connected, gaming, 5 hours of screen time and 30% battery left.

This screen sick. This phone is crazy cool.

I'm glad your liking it ,I try to get mine today at besbuy but didn't have the white , so tommorow checking the other store they said have few in stock .

Yeah, you need either lift to wake, or wake when close turned on. Glad you figured it out!

You should be able to check the store stock via best buy online and choose pick in store. Best buy usually don't have stock for the white readily available. Mostly they have black and that too may be 64 GB. It might be really hard to find the color and storage combo in store for best buy. So you might have choose shipping option in case you are particular about color and storage combo.

Yeah the one best buy store I went into had just sold the white and only black was available, so they put store locator and I'll be going there later .

Slave is it still working well for her? I have the same issue and have tried many different things, but still have to push the power button. If the screen turns off, I have to hit the button to allow the face to operate. Thanks

Yes. It works great. Just make sure that "lift to check phone" is enabled.
