Anyone else have the problem of not being able to add the downloaded facebook app as an account?

I don't believe you need to add the official facebook app as an account. The app authenticates and updates from facebook on its own. When you set up facebook from within account managment on the phone it syncs facebook up with your contacts and also any widgets you use.
