Facebook app doesn't connect

Hi guys, Facebook app doesn't connect even if I have an active 4g connection. It continue to display "impossible to connect. Try again". What can I do?

There could be a problem on facebook's end. I think there were a few posts on this last night.

I have not run the Facebook app on any device I've owned since the time that they bypassed the Google Play store policy and tried to push an update without any consent back in spring of 2013. That's unacceptable, to me, and will not give them a chance to do it again.

I just create a custom bookmark shortcut, for Facebook. The mobile version of the site seems to work fine.
