Facebook App not working

Hi,
I have scoured the internet and can not find a solution. My facebook and messenger app keeps saying 'Login Failed: Sorry, unable to login. Please check your internet connection"
I have reset my phone, force stopped the app, cleared the data and cache; turned my phone off for 1hr and turned it back on, checked for app updates and software updates, uninstalled the app and reinstalled it multiple times - and can not seem to find a solution.
I can access facebook via my computer and the chrome on my phone etc.

There are some issue 32 bit devices . Therefore it might not work yet but in future may work. In review section of app facebook mention this issue. It will help.

Leave feedback to the development team via the google play page. BTW, using FB through the web browser is much easier on the battery. Chrome will also give you notifications for FB if you stay logged in.
