Facebook causing Chromebook to lock up

Anyone else having any issues with their Chromebook completely locking up when loading web pages? Specifically Facebook. I constantly have to restart the device; Facebook causes the entire system to become unresponsive until I hold down the power button for a good amount of time.

Thoughts?

That's an odd one. I haven't had any issues with facebook on my Samsung. Which device are you using?

I have that problem on both of our chromebooks. If I utilize a VPN, the problem goes away. You might give that a try. Thoughts on why that is happening would be helpful. Several people have posted on several sites concerning the same problem. Google says that few are experiencing the same thing, so what is unique about us?
