Facebook crashing...

Every time I try to reply to a comment on Facebook, the app crashes. Anyone else having this problem?

It started on mine today.
I'm about to send them (fb) an email. I suggest everyone with the problem does the same so they can get on a fix soon.

I've been on Google Plus trying to get some answers. So far nothing. I though we were on to something when someone suggested it may be SwiftKey causing the problem. Sad to say, that wasn't the problem. I tried with the Samsung Keyboard and it still crashed.

I am having the same problem. It started yesterday morning and I haven't figured out the problem yet.

Yes. It's driving me nuts. It started yesterday randomly. I've uninstalled several times..that hasn't helped any.

Did you and everyone else send an email to Facebook? Maybe if they see a huge outcry, they will push to respond faster. As of right now, I have to use Facebook on the web because if I'm on the app and want to respond to something I can't. Smh

I am having the same problem started yesterday at around 6:00pm CST.

Unfortunately, I have the same problem here. So lame I can't comment anything. Having Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo Plus, running Android 4.4.4. Kit-Kat.

Yeah, yesterday an update came up, so I updated. I think it might be since that update.

After having trouble with fb on my GS6 Edge this morning, I turned it off for about 20 minutes.

After that, I turned it on, charged it to 100%.

After a few hours, I tried Facebook and it worked normally.

I didn't get any update and didn't move any settings, so I'm not sure what happened.

I did send an email to Facebook about this issue in the morning anyway.

I just posted this, I guess I should have searched first lol. This **** is crazy.

Hello. I remember a few months back I had random apps force closing all the time. The culprit was Android Sydye Web view. Well the other day I updated FB. Now I noticed I can not comment on anyone or anything without it force closing to the home screen. Also the photo icon to post a photo in a comment is grayed out. I've deleted the app and all the associated files and installed again. Still the same issue. Anyone have an idea???

Google: Android Facebook Beta Program, sorry can't post links, stupid account rules... Once you find the page on Google groups, make sure your not joined as a beta user, if so leave the program.

Uninstall Facebook
Wait 30 mins, reinstall

Doing so should drop you from the problem build of 37.0.0.1.234 to the working build of 36.0.0.39.166

Yes! I'm using Android 5.0 Lollipop on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and ever since the latest Facebook update I crash out of the app everytime I attempt to send a comment on a post. It's very annoying. Like you, I've tried several things to fix this. Rebooting, clearing cache, Uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times. Nothing changes. I've got plenty of ram and storage space, so it's got to be a fb problem.

The problem seems to be the facebook beta program. Try to sing out from beta and re-install the app from the store. It worked here.
