Facebook emoji and general look different from others

[Android Central Question]

Hi, everyone around me has the newest Facebook emoji (the ones you see on the Web) but my Sony z2 doesn't for some reason.. I'm on Version 180.0.0.35.82
I know this isn't the end of the world but it just baffles and annoys me that there is almost no info about this and why I seem to be the only one having this problem.. They have Huawei phones with android 6.0 as well..
