Facebook has been closing without the pressing of any key

[AC Question]

My wife has a Samsung Galaxy Tab3 10.1 (GT-P5210) which was recently updated automatically to Android KitKat 4.4.2 (KOT49H.P5210UEU0CNH2).

Ever since the update, Facebook has been closing without the pressing of any key.

Could it be Facebook or Android KitKat?

Can anyone help?

Try Settings, Apps, All, scroll to the Facebook app, and select Clear Cache.

Also, some regard it as a good idea after an update, to perform a Cache Partition wipe.
