Facebook Live Streaming on Note 5

I have gotten constant updates from Facebook in the past week, hoping to get the ability to do Facebook Live like it was mentioned 2 weeks ago. So far I have not gotten it, I have the T-Mobile Note 5. Has anybody gotten it yet ? Or its just me :/

Heh. Well I had 71 and it said I was up to date but I updated to your version through an APK and still no luck.

Did you reboot your phone after installing the apk?

Yeppers. That's ok. If I go to google play store it shows latest version as 71 and yet in my phone I have version 73. Very strange. Wondering if Facebook doesn't allow some people to have certain versions like A/B testing or something

I'm wondering if it involves FB Groups app. I have this installed (in additon to the regular FB app)as that is what I use primarily. Do you have it? This article talks about it but no mention of FB groups being required for the Live Video.

I'm sure they are doing it in waves. You'll probably get an update (or 2) real soon.

It feels like I've been updating FB all week and it's only Tuesday!

Still nothing although it's in pages manager but not in Groups or in facebook. This really sucks.

It's not facebook you need the update from. You have to be on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

I have Marshmallow so it isn't just that. I am starting to think it's just a crapshoot on who gets it and who doesn't.

You don't need Marshmallow, I had it before I got MM. It's the facebook app itself that gets the update
