Facebook Messenger & Mobile Data issue

Hello guys,

I've had this very frustrating issue on both my S9+ and my partners S8+. So the issue is:

Most of the time when I go to send a Facebook message through the messenger app, it will display the "sending" circle, and will not actually send until I turn mobile data off and back on again.

I have not experienced this on WiFi only, just cellular. On both mine and my partners phone.

I'm not sure where to start with this one to be honest, as it's very strange it's happening on both our phones.

Hi! Thanks for your reply, unfortunately I do not have data saver enabled... So will this still be the root cause of the issue? I've enabled the option you've told me to, and I guess I will wait and see if this fixes it at all.
