Facebook no longer shows location on my posts, HELP!!

So I have a Galaxy S7. For a long time the location after my posts would show. Now they don't and I have no idea why. I have ALL location settings turned ON, in Facebook and the Android settings themselves! I even have cleared the Facebook cache. I have actually contacted Facebook support but alas they were no help. HELP PLEASE!! If it make any difference I have Android 7.0 (Nougat). I am wondering if there is a glitch in the Facebook app itself as I have tried a few different devices and all exhibited the same behavior.

Check which permissions are enabled for the app itself:

Settings->Apps->Facebook
Permissions
Make sure the Location toggle is enabled

If you’ve already done this, and location services are enabled on your device, then the problem is with the Facebook app and you’ll just have to wait for them to fix it, unfortunately.

I have done this. In fact I have never ever changed the settings for that in Facebook. Also Facebook keeps automatically updating when on wifi even though I have auto updates turned OFF.
