Facebook notifications

[Android Central Question]

I recently bought Oneplus 5, and I'm facing issue with the facebook app, I'm not receiving notifications.. I have every thing turned ON in the app notification settings, also in the mobile settings, I also tried turning off battery optimization but that didn't work either

Welcome to Android Central! Is Restrict Background Data turned on in Settings>Data Usage?

Also, do notifications work if someone else logs into their FB account instead on your phone? It might be worth testing this, because I've seen a couple of other threads about an odd glitch where only a certain user's account doesn't bring up notifications (regardless of which device that person logs into), while other accounts will give notifications.

Background Data restriction is turned OFF.
I tried to login using other account, but that didn't help either :/
