Question Facebook replies

This is difficult to explain. Sometimes when I try to reply to a Facebook post, the keyboard appears along with a large space to type. However, I cannot see what I have typed. When I exit, I can see my reply in a normal sized window. When I try to type in that window, the big one opens again and I cannot see the text any more. It only happens on certain posts. I can see no logic in it. I'm using a Pixel 8. When I view the same post on my old phone, I have no problem.

Known bug in the FB app. Using the website seems to work for most.
