I like how Facebook integrates with my contact list so I don't want to completely disable the sync of Facebook with my contacts but how can I make it so I stop getting the little green circle with a number in it every time they update there status? Seems like I am constantly having to go in to my contacts just to clear those notifications. I already check the Facebook app and don't want to have to check it again in my contact list.

open facebook and then press the menu button then go to home, press the menu button again and click settings. and just disable the notifications
Unfortunately, I think that's part of FriendStream. If you open the app and go to Menu > Settings and disable facebook updates, you just have to go through and clear them one more time, they shouldn't pop up again.

I just tried it on mine too. We will see what happens. It doesn't show your status update in the Friends Stream widget
I woke up this morning and I had a few. I don't think they were ones I missed but it's possible. I'm going to leave it to see further.
