Hello Fellow AC Peeps,
I have noticed this weird thing when I get a email from FB and I click on the link in my email it use to bring me to http://www.m.facebook.com
Now it just opens the normal web site and I have to shrink everything..

This has been going on for a week or so..
What can I try to do to fix this.. I have rebooted my phone and didn't fix it.

Is there a setting somewhere that caused this?

Thanks.

Try clearing your browsers cache, cookies, history and form data and return the browser back to default.

Thanks ya all, I knew there had to be a way to flush out the cache and what not I did all that was suggested and it works.

Thanks again. :-)

Well I guess I spoke too soon, it will work about 2 or 3 times then goes back to non mobile site..
This is getting very frustrating..

Not quite sure then... mine does the exact opposite. Its always on the mobile site. I prefer the default view so I just hit the option on the bottom of the screen for mobile/default view. I'll see if I can figure it out.

Easy

Don't you hate it when you view a website and it's the Mobile version, but you want the full Desktop page? Just follow this. You will have to do it once in a while when it goes back to Mobile view.

Open Browser
In the address bar type in,
Code:
about:debug
Click Enter
Press Menu
Select Settings
Scroll all the way to the bottom to UAString.
Select it and Select the Desktop Button.

That's it. Now you will have the Desktop mode for all pages. It will stay until you completely close the Browser.

You don't have an option for mobile sites in your browser settings do you?
The only other thing I can suggest is using an alternate browser like Dolphin HD. In the settings you can set the user agent for Android... which will open the mobile view and desktop.... which will give you the full view. That's what I use.

Well that makes no sense to me, mobile sites are more for old nokias, but same protocol, just check Android, and mobile truncation should default.

Hey Johnly....long time no see.
That's what has me puzzled.... by default you should be taken to the mobile version of Facebook. Check your browser settings again and if anything just use Dolphin or hit the option for mobile view on facebooks website when you visit.

Well shave my a$$ and call me dumb but I don't see that mobile option on my browser anywhere. I've looked all around, I'm using the default browser that came with my phone.
I've scrolled all around and don't see it. Something else that seems odd, is other sites that I go to will go to the mobile version of the website but it only happens to be facebook..
I don't remember if there was a FB update or what..
This is so strange. I appreciate everyone's input on this..
I just don't get it.
