When I got my Huawei p30 pro in September, 2019, the facial recognition feature didn't work. I saved my face with and without glasses repeatedly and it didn't work. Around January, I gave up. This morning I noticed the p30 pro trying to identify my face so on a whim I went in and deleted the faces, put in two new ones, and it works perfectly. It's faster and more convenient than the fingerprint. I suspect on of the updates since January of this year did the trick. Maybe it was the 10.1 update.
