Factory Reset = Better Battery Life!

I just wanted to share this with all of you. I?ve been having battery life issues for the past month or so. I?ve tried everything that would normally be suggested for better battery life. I even swapped out batteries with a new one, and none of it helped much.

Due to an unrelated problem, I executed a factory reset, and reloaded all of my applications, and my battery life seems to be improved significantly!!!

I guess a fresh start every now and then is a good thing.

I was looking for Droid tips and tricks at work today, to see if there was any extra things that this forum / others haven't crossed... I saw one from Motorola itself regarding upping your battery life... you're supposed to drain it completely to where it shuts off, charge it and keep it on the charger for two extra hours past 100% charge, and repeat this process a couple of times. It's supposed to train the battery all over again and give you longer life. I've tried it the past couple days and it's starting to work, getting an hour extra out of it now.
