I have what I'm afraid is a virus on my Android phone. I have just been made aware of an app (10135) that I've never seen before and my phone is acting all kinds of crazy. My question is if I do a factory reset and use my backup google account will that reinstall that virus or any virus or malware I might currently have on my phone?

Welcome as a new member.

Factory resetting is a drastic measure. We may be able to suggest other fixes, if you describe the trouble in more detail.

As @hallux says, the 10135 is not the problem here.

In reference to androids apps UID numbers some basic information found here

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/5708906/what-is-uid-on-android?answertab=votes#tab-top

As an example on my Samsung S8

UID range from -12 to 10196 - are android and user apps preinstall ( systems apps ).
UID range 10197 and up - are user installed apps ( from playstore, sideloading and apps for different sources ).
These don't run in sequence ( ie 1,2,3,4,5,6 etc ) so i don't have 10500 apps installed.
So basically if you uninstall an app if deletes the UID as well.
Just for reference my Android Central app from playstore has a UID number 10282
