Dang Pville, where do you find this stuff? You should change your screen name to IncredibleYoda!

Proposed new Stig "signature" (if you don't mind a suggestion from a stranger)...some say Yoda seeks HIS advice on which ROM/kernel's to flash...

hi,

Maybe you could help me?

I get a permission denied response when I try...

abd shell
wipe_data

I'm trying to get by the password screen on this tablet I bought off kijiji....they had it pattern locked and my daughter tried the pattern too many time and now I only have the "unlock with user account" screen

Any ideas?

I cant find the Hard reset button combination anywhere online.

I had the same prob with access denied on my phone. In my case I had to give abd root access Type:

abd root

in the command line

then run the wipe command

Is ADB supposed to be installed on the device i am trying to factory reset via data cable? or is it supposed to be installed on my windows PC? if it is supposed to be installed on the device, i am not able to do that; my screen shows nothing.

the link for the SDK is no longer accurate on the tutorial page. is there another download link? if so, can someone point me in the right direction to acquire the SDK?
