Factory reset, wifi good, no connection

I have a circa 2012 Galaxy note I performed a factory reset on. Tablet boots fine, and connection to wifi is no problem. It is not in airplane mode and the date/time is correct, but for all purposes (Android update/Google play/internet/registration ECT) it doesn't seem to have a connection. My wifi indicator appears to show data in/out. I've tried several networks on both 2.4g and 5.0g with no luck. No registration under software update. No connection via internet app. Unable to connect to server via Gmail and Samsung accounts. Is there anything I can do?

Is this a recently-acquired device? If not, did it work okay in the past?

Would also suggest safe mode see if it still happening.

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen on any wi-fi network, or have you only tested it on one network?
