Factory Reset with Lollipop - Restore from Google any better?

Withe previous versions of Android, google would restore "certain" things, but not all your apps and screens.
Since a lot of you now have Lollipop, and are being coerced into a "do-over", is the restore process from Google any cleaner, or do we still need to use something like Helium / Nova / etc., to get back where we were before the reset?

Love to see something really clean like IOS and their toolsets to do this...

it's very good but not a 100% restore. most third party App data does not restore. i think it's up to the Developer of each App to use the API.

OK, thanks. I sure would like to see this become a more seamless process...
