FAIL(flash_cmds error! ) appearing while flashing with a custom rom

i want to flash a custom rom in my asus zenfone 5 (toof). so,i opened bootloader and try to flash zip file of a custom rom after some time it shows that "flash command error" so please help me to get rid of that error.....plz any one help
