Failed Flash, Will Not Re-enumerate

I am trying to revert back to the stock 2.1 image so I can do an OTA 2.2 update, but every time I try and flash the SBF in RSD Lite 4.7, I get an error when the it tries to re-enumerate. I can hear in Windows that the phone un-mounts, but it never re-mounts. I installed the drivers over and over again, and I even installed some other drivers from the Motorola website and made sure that it said my device was recognized.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I had trouble trying to use rsd lite 4.7 , so what i did just recently was download rsdlite 4.8 and then used the .604 sbf on my 2.1.1 droid x . sucess after that. hope you get it figured out.

I did figure it out. I was using a virtual machine to load everything up in Windows 7, and when it un-mounted the phone, it wouldn't automatically re-connect, so I had to manually do that. I re-flashed it and everything is as good as new.
