Failing live wallpapers and how to set a pic as background?

The camera on the Droid Incredible takes photos at a resolution of 3264x1952 pixels. This is a different ratio than the 960x800 size required to be wallpaper. To put it in different words, a rectangle can't be re-sized down to a square without some cropping. So you have to crop photos taken with the Incredible to get them to the right ratio to work as wallpaper.

If you crop images to 960x800, you can just install them using the phone. No third-party software is necessary.

Hmm..so all you did was download it, and then go to live wallpapers and try to set it, correct?

Too bad I don't have a phone around to mess with it some more.

the free earth one didnt work for me either. But two other ones do. Shake em all, and Pet Koi ( which by the way is sweet)

I tried Rain "matrix" and lines. Both worked perfect.
