Fake? Galaxy S4 Mini?

I just bought a Galaxy s4 mini from a friend. Its unlocked apparently and I went and got a new sim card for it since I had a iphone and I cant connect to my wifi everything looks really bad. I would like to know what the issue is or if its fake or what? Please help me

Either the cover is an aftermarket one, or the phone is a fake. If you turn the phone off and remove the backing, can you see the model number?

Yes it is TC9500

I am inclined to think it is a clone. I can't find any info on the tc9500.

The gs4 mini doesn't have the best screen but that looks quite poor. If your "friend" knowingly sold you a fake you may want to have a word with him/her.

Thats not an Galaxy S4 Mini, sadly. The model doesnt look like an original Galaxy S4 Mini. The only models of S4 mini are. I9190, I9192 duo and I9195 LTE.

There are a lot of fake cell/smartphones out there. I suggest doing RESEARCH on any device before purchase....from anywhere
