Fake Location

I recently got my Droid Maxx and am getting used to it. I use a couple of apps that operate based off location and they always have me set to the wrong city, so I used to use a "Fake GPS" app to correct it (also so I could still post in my town when I was traveling), but now one of the apps now goes off wireless network location instead I believe so I can not set my location correctly any more using any of the "Fake GPS" apps. Anyone know of any other way to correct this or what I can turn off on my phone to it to work again. I am new to this so any help is appreciated.

What do you have locations settings set to?

Go to settings, location, than tap on mode. If you set it for "device only" you should be able to use the "Fake GPS " app.

I have done this, but it still will not change the location on the app.
