As I spend my last few days with my N4, I'll try to remember the good times. It's no longer the high speed, super stable, machine with amazing battery life, that it was when I upgraded from my N2. It should have been retired last year, but then there was the N7 saga. So my N4 graciously agreed to postpone retirement and serve me until Samsung was able to crank out a new note. Farewell my friend, we've had some great times.

Very nice device. Note 8 will have some big shoes to fill. Oh, wait, the Note 8 is already bigger :P hehehe (But if you used it, you will miss the Note 4 staple items that are now from a bygone Samsung era: IR and removable battery. You'll enjoy waterproofing, though).

My AT&T Note 4 battery is toast. I love this phone, but I find myself charging it 2 and 3 times a day just to receive phone calls. Still on 6.0.1. No security patch since June 1. When I check for software updates it tells me my current software is up to date. Any ideas on how to extend battery? I am currently using an S7E. But I LOVE my Note 4 and miss it.

Are batteries no longer available online? I got a replacement on Amazon a year ago. Haven't checked recently.

For under $20, get a new battery. I'm on my 5th. Better than being on my 5th phone!!!! :)

Did that. On my third battery. Also three factory resets. The lag and battery drain was slowing the phone down. After 2 years, I decided to use it for music. Still miss my Note 4 but currently enjoying my S7E.
