Farewell Nexus.....And my unlimited

They cracked the bootloader on the last Razr generation. Also, you'll regret getting an HTC if you want to stay up to date. Take it from a Bolt owner. Just look at their update situtation with the One and One X.

One: US is stuck on 4.1.2 with HTC "working hard" (ha, they said that about ICS for the Bolt and that took almost 8 months) on 4.3. EU is 4.2.2. And the Google Play Edition is 4.3.
One X: US variant stranded on 4.1.2 but the EU version gets 4.2.2 AND Sense 5.

The One may have excellent build quality, that's hard to deny, but HTC is very, very likely to leave you stranded and in the dark.

That's one of the reasons I went with the Galaxy S4 instead of the HTC One.

However, aren't they saying that the HTC One will jump 4.2.2 and get 4.3?

Anyway, both phones are great, it all depends on the needs and wants of each individual.

Sent From a Galaxy S4 Away!

So far so good with my new S4. Only thing I miss is google wallet due to having to root to get it(curse you verizon and trying to force your own Version down our throats). Talking with a coworker we compared one to s4 and in the end s4 was the winner.

How many gigs did you end up with op? I'm in the same boat. I'm even getting "invalid sim card" issues every few days along with it burning hot (over 50 c) and the battery life has become stupid even with my OEM extended. In plugged it 2 hours ago already down to 70% I might try and pick up a motox next month

Speaking of goodbyes, my Galaxy Nexus (3rd replacement phone since the first one back in 2011) has acquired an issue (camera and gallery won't open) that Verizon has deemed fatal. This time they are replacing it with a Galaxy S3. So no more GN for me. Overall, I've had an interesting 17 months with the GN. And by 'interesting' I mean crazy and unpredictable. I was not prepared to encounter so many problems to come from what was originally an expensive high-end "flagship" phone. One positive spin to this is that I've learned so much about the android mobile phone hardware and software that I could've ever imagined - as a result of trying to figure out every single problem. So I'm off to the Galaxy S3 forums and the 'interesting' issues that await there.

I just snagged 2moto x, trying to stay as close to pure android as possible
