Good for you Brad. Life is too short to be sticking with one phone and thinking it is the best. I love my Maxx, but I will try something different when I get my upgrade (possibly SG Note 2). I probably won't get the iphone unless they come up with a bigger screen though or even Blackberry if they can come with up nice sized screen with portrait keyboard.

I suspected something was up when you said you declined the soak test! Considering I own a MacBook and an iPad, I've considered the Forbidden Fruit myself for syncing ease, but after getting spoiled by the MAXX battery, I don't think I could go back to a phone that doesn't last all day (at least it doesn't for my teenagers...). I'll miss seeing you here - whenever there was a post with a question, I'd always scroll through and look for your answer first. Thanks for your help here in the past!

It's ok braden, i to have thought about switching to the forbidden fruit, or the windows phone. I enjoy change, especially in the technology department. Your knowledge of this phone will be missed.

I should know better than to compare adult usage to my non-stop texting teenagers! They run out of battery by dinner time. I had to buy one of them a mophie juice pack.
I have to ask though, have you found anything you miss yet?

i miss having a clean home screen.
i miss being able to easily make my own ringtones and wallpapers and transfer them without having to have certain program on my PC.
i miss Apex and Nova Launcher
i miss widgets of all kinds
i miss the battery life
i miss the blacked out messaging that ive always loaded from custom roms
i miss custom roms

but all of that is just whining. i got this phone because i needed, a phone.

For me, I will never leave android. There is just too much customization and freedom of choice that you don't get on any other os

If it's brief, I don't see why it wouldn't be appropriate in this thread. If you want to go into more detail about your experience with iOS and the transition, I would recommend creating a thread in the iPhone/iOS forum and posting a link to it here (edit: perhaps including in the main post of this thread as well).
