Farewell

Hopefully it's just a fad or short term infatuation, and you will be back to your senses and come back to the Android world... maybe the JB update will bring you back... even though I really only see a couple differences between ICS and JB (from what I see on my Maxx and my Nexus 7).

As an aside, just what the heck is Blackberry thinking introducing their savior BB10, and promptly going silent for a good month before actually having it available in the most important market in the world?

That would actually be China now, not you. Tsk Tsk some of you folks are SO insular! :p

I agree with you that the iPhone is great as something that just works great out of the box. For beginners, I always suggest the iPhone, unless they have a need that the iPhone can't provide. I bought my wife an iPhone, and she likes it, works great for her.

To be honest, I would consider an iPhone if it had a larger screen size. I bought my note 2 for $37,and the viewable area is over twice as much as my wife's iPhone.

This is a spot on review of switching from Android to iPhone. I made the leap about 45 days ago.

There are many things an iPhone will never be able to do that an Android can. If you like to tinker and change things this isn't for you. But if you don't like dealing with the occasional bugginess of the phones and OS and the never ending delayed OS releases, than you should try an iPhone. It is nothing if not reliable.
