Samsung mobile phones have historically been limiting
the total power throughput to very menial 6 Watts (i.e. around 9V 0.67A 5V 1.2A instead of 9V 1.67A), rendering fast charging effectively useless while the device is in operation.
The full 15W were only reachable while the device was either in stand-by mode or completely switched off.
There is no technical reason for this limitation.
Is that still the case on the Note 10? And what about the S10, Note 9, S9 and Note 8?
Online sources confirm that that the S8 does have this limit (presumably 6W too), but after that, I am not sure.
Can anyone confirm that the Note 10 (S10, Note 9, S9, and Note 8) no longer have this despicable limitation?
