Fast charging problem

I am currently using the factory power adapter and a brand new anker powerline+ ucb-c to usb 3.0 cable and when i plug the cable in the phone will fast charge for a bit but then stop and tell me please check cables and all that stuff. Has anybody experienced this with their phone ?

Can you try the stock cable? Maybe there's something wrong with the anker cable?

I find some third party cables or chargers hit or miss when it comes to fast charge compatibility.

Agreed with the post above - sometimes, third party chargers do not perform the way we want them to! Sometimes they're not as capable as the ones that come with your phone; especially with regards to quick-charging. Keep us updated on your issue!

Yip, I have a few cables that worked and then quit... So far my aukey cables have been working well. Had them for about 5 months now.

Agreed that it's most likely the Anker cable. I've had the same problem with a couple after market usbc cables; most recently an Aukey cable that came with my car charger. Of course I switched it out with another Aukey cable (this time braided) so we'll see how long this one lasts.

Unfortunately both the AC adapter and cable have to be up to spec, I purchased a QC car adapter that wouldn't fat charge with a third party cable but worked with the factory cable.

Yes, you definitely have to make sure the cable you're using is capable of fast charging.
