Hi,

I switched over from the iPhone XS to the Galaxy S10 recently. I have several USB C Apple Cables and Chargers rated at 29 Watts, and I was just wondering if I'd be able to fast charge my S10 with those.

It says "fast charging" when I plug it in but don't know if it's a bit faster using the Samsung charger (rated at 15 Watts I believe) since it's designed by them for the Galaxy series.

Thanks!

Those Apple chargers support USB PD at either 14.5V@2A or 5.2V@2.4A, so it'll probably charge a little bit slower than the Samsung adapter, but it shouldn't be too bad. I don't buy stuff from Apple so I can't test it myself with a meter unfortunately.

It is totally safe to use them though.

Do you mean the actual chargers or USB C Cables? I can potentially switch the chargers at some point which would not be a big deal

I'm talking about the chargers, I don't know the specifics on the Apple branded USB-C cables, but they'll handle anything the S10 will draw for sure.
