Fast Charging

By default the fast charging options are supposed to be enabled but it would be nice to know for sure.

I have a Ceramic model, but I assume that doesn't change to things.

My first gen Samsung Fast Wireless charger will fast charge my Note 9 but will not Fast Charge my S10. My Samsung DUO Fast Wireless charger from last year will still fast charge the S10. So basically, with the S10 you'll probably need a newer model wireless charger.

I guess there is no setting on Verizon. I hope that doesn't mean it doesn't support. I have wireless chargers but 1 is normal charging and the other is only fast charge compatible with Pixel.

I just checked my settings . My Sprint phone does not have the fast wireless setting, either.

By default even if you had two they are both toggled to on. You still have fast wireless charging support but I believe it's only using the one toggle for both. I can't think of a reason to turn it off except in case you want to force it into slow charging mode

I have Verizon and only the wired setting. I also have an older Samsung wireless charger. I believe I remember that you don't see the wireless option until it is placed on an appropriate fast wireless charger.

I have Verizon. You need to go to battery then click the 3 dots, then settings. Under this menu it will show the fast wireless charging option.

It doesn't show....Been there, done that. Posted an example in a prior message. See below

I'm only seeing fast wired charging as a option....I'm not worried at this point.

That's odd as I have VZW and do have the fast charger wireless option in this very menu

Please read earlier posts... Several have said it's not in the menu until you put it on a wireless charger that works. When you get the phone the only fast charging option in the menu is wired, that will change once you put it on a wireless charger. I don't know why they did that, but that's the way they did it.

You are correct... Just purchased the Samsung (2019) duo wireless charger today. After I placed it on the charger, I checked my battery settings and wireless charging now appears.

I agree this is showing up now when put on wireless fast charger.

and when I tried to go to settings I can't find the fast wireless charging toggle, my phone only have fast cable charging toggle.
that model only equipped w/ micro USB plug so I can't plug my type C cable on my wireless charger pad

what should I do ? pls reply

Where did you buy the charging pad? Apparently there are people selling fakes that look pretty close to the real thing.

Can check in settings>advanced feature>accessory

Where did you buy the charging pad? Apparently there are people selling fakes that look pretty close to the real thing.

I got it as a bonus when I bought my phone in an authorized official store, the charging pad can't be fake. There must be another issue

Hmm, looks like it didn't get activated yet , maybe try another fast charger if you could.
