Looking at the screenshot here I notice suddenly I will get faster battery drain usually 1% drain every 30 minutes or so idle but after I reboot the phone the drain is back to normal 1% every few hours but if you look it seems after a reboot there is a chunk of battery missing then after the drain is normal. I had this issue with Kitkat too.

It might be because there is some app running in the background. Or it's because you used your phone for a heavy task then looked at the battery thing.

That is just odd.
I had this issue with Kitkat too.
It's your phone.

No, it's not phone. It's OS. I have this issue too. Suddenly Android OS starts to suck battery. After reboot it improves, but comes back again in some time.
Also, after 5.0.1 update the standby time became about two times worse compare to 4.4.4.

Happened again and to think I rebooted the device yesterday because yet another common bug Google refuses to fix when my mother called me all she got was voice mail. After rebooting I had missed calls. Today it started to drain more rapidly. Now I am going to reboot my phone every night.Screenshot_2015-02-18-18-38-16.jpg

Happened again just today. Overnight my phone barely drained in the morning it was 79% so I charged it went to 100% full charge in less than a half hour. Not even 30 minutes later it dropped down to 96%. Reboot back to normal again. Don't tell me to run that stupid partition cache wipe crap. I ran it freaking yesterday. I run it at least twice a week and reboot my phone nearly every day but this crappy sudden battery drain is ticking me off.

Calm now. I do notice that after charging it will start its rapid battery drain. Also I notice it all started after I got a calendar reminder.

Just giving a update here. Last week I turned off smart lock where if it knows you are at home you don't have to put in a lock code. Ever since I turned it off my battery has been amazing. I have not rebooted it since then and I have no sudden rapid battery drain.

That's odd. But I do like your profile photo.
