fatten hotspot widget vzw

I'm looking at a new phone soon. Looks like vzw might not get the new nexus (who would have guessed ) so I'm looking at the x. One thing I love on my gnex is bypassing vzws hotspot authentication with just the fatten hotspot widget. Can anyone confirm if it works on the x at all?

I just gave it a shot and Nada. Gives me the 1800 number to call Verizon and activate the hotspot.

I use foxfi on my X and it works great. I have unlimited data still and won't pay for Verizon's hotspot. Foxfi is my solution.

Thanks for giving it a shot..gives me something to think about. On the gnex the widget bypasses vzw authentication so I can use my unlimited data for hotspot really easy and not get charged.

I still have to see about fighting them for my unlimited data if I upgrade. And then get them to accept my moto trade up.

foxfi works great, but dont like the screen lock, well at least our phone got rooted 3 hrs ago, maybe now someone will find a better solution and share ;-)
