Faulty Battery, Bad Charger, or My Fault?

So, let me start off by saying that I love my E3D (coming from rooted Sprint Hero). Its a beautiful phone, runs silky smooth, and is a huge step up in just about every way.

My problem - when I went to bed last night, the phone was at about 13% (after a very full day of playing with the phone; 3D games, regular games, texting, messing with settings, running speedtest tests on all 3 radios etc) I hooked it up to my charger, and when I woke up it was only charged to 97%. It was on the charger for a good 7 hours, and still no full charge.

Keep in mind, while it was on the charger I had "Pixel Zombies" live wallpaper on it, facebook updates every 3 hours, weather every 2 hours, background syncing on, WIFI off, GPS off, 4G off.

What do you think? Bad charger, faulty battery, or just too much going on to have it charge the full way?

Dunno, but I use lightning bug app to help me sleep. Screen on, sound all night. I still get 100% charge in the morning.

A lot of people are having the same problem. I got my 3d on wednesday and today was only the second time I got to 100%.

They seem to need a break-in period of charging and draining to really get an accurate battery bar. Give it a few days and see if that helps.

let your battery go through a few cycles...let it go down below 5% and then charge it fully, It'll start performing better and charge to 100% in a few days. If this does not work, go in the EVO 3D FAQ thread and there is a battery calibration tutorial.

I have Battery Monitor Widget Pro and i checked my log from over night charging and it shows my device charging to 100%, then several times over a 6 hour period dropping to about 95%, then back up.
So you might have caught it after the charge got to 100%, then charge shut off as to not over heat or damage the battery or unit.
