Hey everyone. I along with a few others are having an issue where there is no widget for favorite contacts. It shows in the application manager but it's not an option in the widgets area. Is anyone else missing this widget and does anyone know if it would be possible to get it? We're on Verizon if that helps. Thanks in advance

Sprint here and widget is missing but listed in applications manager. I also believe at one time I saw on my phone a way to place an individual contact shortcut on a Home Screen then when touched would dial that contact. Cannot locate that again. Anyone know where that option is located??

Under Widgets there should be 3 - "Contact" "Direct Dial" & "Direct Message"

I use the "Contact" widget and add it to my home screen for the numbers I call often. Do you not have these options?

I am on Sprint too.

i have the contact, direct dial, & direct message widgets but i know there was a whole widget box that had your favorite contacts. Some have it and some don't. But there's an app in the play store called favorite contacts widget and it does as described. I emailed the developer and he said an update is coming out to make it better as well as Facebook contact pic integration.

The OP is talking about the contact widget that displays 9 of your favorite contacts so you can easily move the widget (with all 9 contacts) from screen to screen easily. It's also handy cause they are all right there when needed for quick dialing. I'm on Sprint...it was there before the update then it disappeared like Houdini without a trace. It ticked me off but I just created a bunch of direct dial widgets and made a folder called "contacts". It's an unnesessary step having to open the folder but it got the job done.

Interesting... I have never seen that one. Sounds useful though...
