Looks like a nice case but is it bulky?

Not bad at all. I've dropped my note 8 several times on concrete and pavement and not a scratch on the phone. The problem I've had with others is it catching on seatbelts and breaking the clip. I've used this for two years now and still have the same one.

I use a PDAir vertical holster case with belt clip.
