Favorite Launcher?

I'm also using the stock launcher. Gestures still don't work great with 3rd party launchers. There is a noticeable delay when swiping up to go home and trying to open another app. And swiping up to get to recents is not as smooth as with the stock launcher. I still have Nova beta installed and occasionally try using it but after a while it just annoys me.

I am heavily invested in Microsoft (personal) and business 365. Microsoft Launcher is my choice because of its integration. Yes. I was a Windows Mobile fan, so moving to Android and this launcher is a natural.... evolution. - That said, I have alos downloaded Nova Launcher and paid for Pro. Experimented with it but found the calendar and other MS integrations better with their launcher.

I just ordered my first Samsung device ever. A note 20 Ultra because of Samsungs integration.

Does it have the pixel launcher pre-set or did it take a bunch of setting changes?

I've been using Nova since 2015. I restore from a backup, but I think Nova gives you two or three options at setup. One of which is a Pixel Launcher option.

I've been using Nova Launcher Prime for over 6 years now. Occasionally I'll also use OneUI, but mostly it's Nova, which I even used on my old Nexus devices.

So over the past few weeks I've used Nova Prime, Smart Launcher 5, Square Launcher and Niagra Launcher. After all that I'm seriously considering going back to One UI and deleting the rest. I'm using One ui inb"iphone style" without an app drawer and it just feels like the easiest most efficient.

3rd party launchers still have gesture issues and this is why I don't use them anymore. Their quirks just annoy me too much these and until Google fixes them I will just use stock.

One UI is a very smooth OS. I enjoy using it, too - though I've been on Nova for a while now.
