Favorite on screen keyboard.

Swiftkey X is pretty amazing. I also use an updated Swype which I also like. I switch between these and occasionally use the stock kb that comes with aosp.

I used FlexT9 for a looong time. I really liked its "swype" style mode and thought it was actually much better than Swype. I stopped using it for some reason (I think I changed roms and never re installed it). I am curious how it is now after any updates, because it WAS my favorite of them all.

I use FlexT9, and it still works better for me than the newer Swype3.0 beta. Only issue I have is with handwriting mode, it has trouble recognizing my "t" no matter how I try to write it.

Is there still no voice to text support for our phones using FlexT9?

Also to those that use SlideIt... I've heard many good things about it but don't see what the big deal is. someone please please help me see the light :D I like to give all keyboards a fair chance. So far the big problem is the word prediction/ auto complete, doesn't seem up to par with the rest (maybe I am spoiled by SwiftKey x)

I haven't tried it yet, but a friend of mine really likes a swype-like one called FlexT9.
I hate the fact that they have T9 in the name, though. Based on the name I would expect that it tries to emulate and old-school number pad for people who have T9 in muscle-memory and just can't give it up. Not the case.

Somebody in their marketing department should be fired.
I have had flex T9 thinking it provided the T9 input style and bashed them because they didn't. It is a better keyboard than the stock, but has it's quirks. I have since installed the (EvenBetter)NumberPad Keyboard from the market and let me tell you... for me it is the best keyboard providing T9 input. Makes it MUCH easier to message while driving, never need to take your eyes off the road while typing.

Dangerous and illegal in many places! ;)

Use Google Voice Activations to speak your text messages, or better yet, don't text while driving at all! ;)
