Wasn't sure where to inquire so my apologies in advanced. I read that FB Messenger has integrated SMS. Was wondering if anyone has tried it and could answer a couple of questions.

1. Does it support Android Wear?
2. Does it play the notification sounds configured for individuals?

To the second question, Hangouts & Google Messenger only play the default notification which is why I have remained with the default Samsung SMS app. Each of my kids has a different notification so I know who the message is from.

My ZenWatch does show when a FB Message is received but I can't read the message.

With Hangouts, you can set a different tone for each conversation, whether it's SMS or Hangouts IM. Open the conversation, tap Menu>People & Options, then change the notification tone there. That should change it for only that conversation.

I could be wrong--I usually don't set different tones for different conversations. I usually just set different tones to distinguish SMS from Hangouts. But the actual People & Options menu makes me think that you actually can set different tones for different conversations, because the menu makes a specific reference to "this conversation."

Thanks. I haven't reinstalled Hangouts yet to give it a go, but will and report back. Was hoping someone could validate my question about FB Msgr.

Don't care, don't use anything fb apart from accessing from my browser. I'll never download a fb app.
