FC problems

Okay.. so I'm still getting FC's.. and losing all my information after rebooting. >.< Of course only a couple of FC's.. since I have no apps or anything installed.

Oh man. Ok, well I can suggest the beat-all cure-all ODIN. But let me see if I can recruit some help.

FYI.. don't know if this is of any importance.. but it says my baseband version is EC01.

Baseband is correct, that lets you know which radio you are on - in this case the EC01 radio. We are going to have to do a complete repartition and build up back to ED01. Are you willing to do this? This will take you back to stock EB01 for now, but will properly set your partitions. Once there you can go straight to whatever ROM you want to run.

Ok, you are going to flash two things at the same time in ODIN.

Download this and you will put this file into the PDA section of ODIN. No need to unzip it, just place it in the PDA section as is:
Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

This you will place in the PIT section of ODIN, once again, as is:

On the left side of ODIN, below the rectangles, you will see three checkboxes. Place a check in the box for re-partition.

Then click start. When this is done, close ODIN, pull usb cord, put battery back in, boot phone to let stock EB01 fully load, power down, pull battery, open ODIN, flash the CWM-recovery-all-3-30-fix in PDA section of ODIN.

And I forgot to ask you what ROM do you want to end up on? If you are going to definitely switch to the charge that will actually change some of my instructions. If you want to try and salvage the Fascinate, just let me know what ROM you want to get to and I'll pick up the directions from here.

In that case, forget what I said before. Follow the instructions by DroidXcon for using ODIN to get back to stock for the Froyo update, then just let your phone get the OTA from verizon to take you to stock ED01

I'm sure we could have figured it out eventually, but if you are just wanting to get to stock to sell it, why bother. Just for my curiosity sake though can you do me a favor and go menu=>settings=>about phone and tell me what it says for the following:

Firmware version
Baseband
Kernel
Build

so strange.. I honestly don't know what went wrong. However now I am back at stock.. which I'm disliking with all its ugly bloat and all. We'll see if my Sammy sells...and how long I last til I must have root again ^.^
